Which Step Up scholarship may fit my child?

Six quick questions. About two minutes. You'll see which Step Up For Students scholarship families in your situation often look at first, and what to do next.

This is a guide, not a decision. Only Step Up For Students can decide eligibility. Your answers stay in your browser unless you choose to email your results.

How this works

The quiz follows the main eligibility rules in the 2026-27 Step Up For Students handbooks. It points you to the scholarship most worth reading about first. It cannot tell you whether you will be approved; Step Up makes that decision.

Assumptions

  • You live in Florida, or you are moving here on military orders, and your child is school-aged or will be soon.
  • A diagnosis, IEP, or 504 plan points to the Unique Abilities Scholarship (FES-UA) first.
  • Home education points to the Personalized Education Program (PEP) when there is no qualifying diagnosis.
  • Looking for private school tuition points to the Private School scholarships (FTC and FES-EO).
  • Your answers are not saved or sent anywhere unless you choose to email your results.
