Free local resources that pair well with tutoring. Check each one's schedule before you go.
Lake Worth Beach is my home base, so families here get the most scheduling flexibility. Sessions can happen in your home, at a quiet public spot nearby, or online, and they follow the same calm structure each time.
Kindergarten through 6th grade. Online sessions start in 1st grade. Families usually come for help with sounding out words, spelling, reading comprehension, writing, or keeping schoolwork organized.
I serve families all over the city, from the historic streets near downtown to the quieter blocks west of Dixie Highway. That includes College Park, Mango Groves, Parrot Cove, Bryant Park, South Palm Park, Tropical Ridge, and Sunset Ridge.
West of I-95, I also serve families along Lake Worth Road and 10th Avenue North. If you are not sure whether your street is close enough for in-person sessions, ask on the fit call.
Short drives help sessions start on time. From home base, the Lake Worth Beach City Library downtown is roughly 7 to 12 minutes away, and the Lantana Road Branch library is roughly 13 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic. These are estimates, not promises.
For in-home sessions, I come to you, so the only drive is mine. For families farther out, online sessions keep the same routine without the commute.
Lantana sits just south of Lake Worth Beach, a few minutes down Dixie Highway or I-95. Lake Clarke Shores is just to the west, along Forest Hill Boulevard and Florida Mango Road. Both are within easy reach for in-person sessions.
Families in Lantana can also use the Lantana Public Library on West Ocean Avenue, which runs children’s programs like story time and a kids’ book club.
Homeschool and PEP families often want steady reading support that fits around their own plan. I can work alongside your curriculum, focus on the skills your child needs most, and share progress notes you can use for your Student Learning Plan.
There is no homeschool co-op based only in Lake Worth Beach that I can point to yet, but countywide groups hold park days and meetups that families here attend. See the homeschool learning support page for how tutoring fits a parent-directed program.
Lake Worth Beach students attend schools in the School District of Palm Beach County, plus several private and charter schools nearby. With your permission, I am glad to share strategies with your child’s teacher, so school and tutoring point in the same direction.
