Accessibility statement
Last updated October 15, 2026
Every parent should be able to read this site, use the tools, and book a call, including with a screen reader, a keyboard, or a phone. As a literacy specialist, I care about this a lot.
1. My goal
This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
2. What I have done
- High-contrast text and links that are underlined, not shown by color alone.
- A visible focus outline on every link, button, and form field, and a "Skip to main content" link.
- Labels on every form field, clear error messages, and focus moved to the first field that needs attention.
- Headings and landmarks that describe the page structure for screen readers.
- Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels, and layouts and tables that reflow on small screens.
- No autoplaying media or pop-ups, and reduced motion when your device asks for it.
- Plain-language writing at about a 7th to 8th grade reading level.
3. Known limits
Some third-party tools, like the booking calendar (Cal.com) and the spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile), are outside my control. If either gives you trouble, you can call, text, or send a message instead.
4. Tell me about a problem
If something on this site does not work for you, please tell me. I will fix it or help you another way, usually within a few days.
You can reach me through the contact page, or call or text (305) 804-0622.
