Local programs worth knowing about. Schedules change, so check before you go.
How we meet depends on where in Boynton Beach you live. Closer to I-95 and the coast, in-person sessions usually fit within my travel radius of about 30 minutes from Lake Worth Beach.
Farther west, along Jog Road and out toward the Canyon Branch library, the drive often runs longer than that. For those families, online sessions are the usual plan, with the same lessons, materials, and progress reviews.
I serve families across the city, including the Heart of Boynton near downtown, Lake Boynton Estates, Hampshire Gardens, and the Renaissance Commons area. If your street is not on that list, ask anyway.
Most trips from Lake Worth Beach start on I-95, with exits at Gateway Boulevard, Boynton Beach Boulevard, and Woolbright Road. Homes off Seacrest Boulevard, Congress Avenue, or US 1 are usually the easiest to reach.
From home base, the Boynton Beach City Library on East Ocean Avenue is roughly 14 to 22 minutes away. The West Boynton Branch on Jog Road is roughly 22 to 30 minutes, and the Canyon Branch is roughly 27 to 38 minutes.
These are estimates for typical traffic, and rush hour can add more. They are the main reason western Boynton usually starts online.
Homeschool and PEP families in Boynton Beach have local programs to build a week around. CHEC The Center on Jog Road runs homeschool day programs for grades K-5, and the county library hosts Homeschool Hub events at the Hagen Ranch Road Branch.
Tutoring can sit alongside those programs, with steady phonics practice or writing feedback each week. I can work with your curriculum and share progress notes you can use for your Student Learning Plan. See homeschool learning support for how it works.
Reading is not the only reason families reach out. Executive function tutoring helps kids who struggle to start homework, keep track of assignments, or plan a long project.
We build simple routines your child can use without me, like a weekly planner check and a short start-up checklist. With your permission, I can share those routines with your child’s teacher too.
A free 15-minute fit call is the easiest way to find out whether in-person or online sessions make sense for your part of Boynton. You will hear my recommendation the same day.
Families in Boynton Beach with a Unique Abilities Scholarship (FES-UA) or a Personalized Education Program (PEP) account can often pay for tutoring through Step Up For Students, with direct pay in the Education Market Assistant (EMA). The rules are the same across Palm Beach County, and my independent guide explains them in plain language.
Sometimes, when the drive fits within my travel radius of about 30 minutes. Families along Jog Road and near the Canyon Branch library usually start online, because the drive from Lake Worth Beach often runs longer. If an in-person time opens up later, we can switch.
It is a quiet public space, but it does not list study rooms you can book, so a good table may not be free. Home or online sessions are easier to keep on a steady schedule. If a library option matters to you, we can talk it through on the fit call.
Yes. We can schedule sessions on the days your child is home, or after the program ends for the day. I plan lessons to support what your child is learning at home and in the program.
Homeschool learning supportNo. The rate is the same for scholarship and private-pay families. If your child has a Unique Abilities Scholarship (FES-UA) or a Personalized Education Program (PEP) account, you can often pay me directly through the Education Market Assistant (EMA).
